EMPOWERING BOYS TO REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL
Published: Friday, 31st March 2017
WHAT WE DO
Provide fun and engaging activities for boys and a father figure, to build strong, positive and nourishing relationships. Through these activities we aim to support and encourage men in their role as mentors and to raise self-esteem in men & boys. Our hope is that boys will be empowered to strive to reach their full potential in school, in work, and in the family, and contribute positively to their communities.
Every boy needs a positive male role model in their life, and especially during childhood. This relationship is most commonly filled by their dad but when this isn’t possible, another significant man in a boy’s life could take this place
We offer a number of opportunities designed to build trust and confidence between men & boys, to create strong and positive relationships
Opportunities include:Weekend camping adventures, 6-week ‘Man & Boy’ relationship skills courses and 1-2-1 mentoring for fathers.
Our next Camp is from 9-11 June 2017 and I thought you might like to consider which boys would benefit from this experience and send a leaflet home with them over the Easter break? We will have lots of fun outdoor activities, such as raft building and archery, PLUS, this year our Patron ‘Adam Byatt’ celebrity Michelin star chef will be participating and giving the participants a bushcraft cooking demonstration and more!
Places will go very quickly so please apply early to avoid disappointment. I would recommend referring by the end of April as places are given on a first come, first served basis.
We offer a number of events throughout the year and our next event is:
The Summer Adventure Camp weekend to be held on 9-11 June 2017
at Ashburnham Place,
Near Battle, East Sussex.
